Refund Policy
At Modernized Pottery, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. We offer a 30-day return policy on eligible non-plant and non-floral items. If you are not happy with an eligible item, you may request a return within 30 days of receiving your order.
Return Eligibility
To be eligible for a return, the item must be unused, in the same condition as when you received it, and in its original packaging. Please include the receipt or proof of purchase with your return request.
Items sent back without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
Live Plants, Dried Florals, and Final Sale Items
Due to the nature of live plants, dried florals, preserved florals, natural materials, plant health, and shipping conditions, all live plant and dried floral orders are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.
This includes, but is not limited to:
Live plants
Dried florals
Preserved florals
Faux/dried bouquet stems
Plant and planter bundles
Vase and floral bundles
Plant Club orders
Subscription orders
Any product that ships with a live plant, dried floral, preserved floral, or bouquet stem
If your live plant or dried floral item arrives damaged, incorrect, or in poor condition, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery with photos of the item, packaging, and shipping label. We will review the issue and, when appropriate, offer a replacement, store credit, or refund at our discretion.
Returns Within the United States
For eligible non-plant and non-floral items, we will provide return instructions and, when applicable, a return shipping label by email.
Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will process the refund if the return is approved. Original shipping charges and return shipping fees may be deducted from the refund unless the return is due to our error.
International Returns
We cannot accept returns for products delivered outside of the United States due to customs restrictions. However, if there is an issue with your order, please contact us and we will work to make it right.
Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives. If your item is defective, damaged, incorrect, or missing, contact us immediately through our contact page.
For live plants, dried florals, preserved florals, or bouquet stems, damage claims must be submitted within 24 hours of delivery and must include photos of the item, packaging, and shipping label.

Faux/dried bouquet stems
Plant Club orders
Subscription orders
Any product containing live plants or florals
Exchanges
For eligible non-plant and non-floral items, the fastest way to exchange an item is to return the item you have. Once the return is accepted, you can place a separate order for the new item.
Live plants, dried florals, preserved florals, bouquet stems, Plant Club orders, and subscription orders are not eligible for exchanges.
Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of the approval status. If approved, you will be automatically refunded through your original payment method within 10 business days.
Please note that it may take additional time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund. If more than 15 business days have passed since your return was approved, please contact us through our contact page.
